Dr Wilson Siu

Gastroenterologist with special interest in pancreatic and biliary disease

Dr Siu completed his medical training at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom, graduating in 2011. Subsequently, he pursued specialist training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Scotland. During his tenure in the UK, he also completed an inflammatory bowel disease fellowship, where he provided care for complex IBD patients. Dr Siu underwent further advanced endoscopy training (Endoscopic Ultrasound and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) at the prestigious endoscopy centre at Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong and Canberra Hospital.

Driven by a passion for advancing medical knowledge, Dr Siu actively engages in clinical research and holds a Masters in Clinical Trials from the University of Edinburgh. He is equally committed to education, having obtained a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Education. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia, and is certified by the Australian Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for gastroscopy and colonoscopy. He is currently working as a consultant gastroenterologist at Canberra Hospital.

He is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. In his leisure time, he finds joy in playing soccer and indulging in classical music.
